Not a tweak to the usual model, but a different way of learning and teaching, built for a global world.
Maria Montessori was one of the first women doctors in Italy, she turned her training in biology and anthropology toward childhood, and opened her first school in Rome in 1907.
Her method rests on one idea: respect each child’s pace, and independence will follow. Children, she believed, learn best when they’re free to follow their own curiosity.

A child who grows up independent, confident, and used to cooperating rarely turns to violence. Peace starts there.
Montessori saw everything as connected. She believed every child has a place in the world and the potential to fill it. Hold back a child’s development, and you hold back who they can become.
INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL
Bilingual by design
Our curriculum follows the Association Montessori Internationale and meets Spain’s requirements for Spanish Language and Culture. The goal: children who move easily between English and Spanish, and between both educational systems.
Accredited Internationally
We’re accredited by the Middle States Association (MSA-CESS), with instruction primarily in English. That makes moving on to international schools anywhere in the world so much easier.
